About Us

DaytonMarijuana.clinic — Ohio Medical Marijuana for the Gem City

Built for Dayton

Dayton is Ohio's fourth-largest city and the Gem City — a community of more than 135,000 residents in the Miami Valley, the birthplace of aviation and home of the Wright Brothers, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, the University of Dayton, Wright State University, and the nationally recognized Oregon District entertainment corridor. DaytonMarijuana.clinic is an online directory and telehealth scheduling platform connecting Dayton residents with CTR-certified Ohio physicians for medical marijuana recommendations under Ohio's OMMCP.

We are not a medical practice, dispensary, or pharmacy. We connect patients with qualified physicians and guide them through Ohio's straightforward telehealth certification and OMMCP registration process — from the Oregon District and South Park to Wright-Dunbar, Oakwood, Kettering, and every Dayton neighborhood.

How We Operate

CTR-Certified Physicians

Every physician on our platform holds an active Ohio medical license and a Certificate to Recommend (CTR) from the State Medical Board of Ohio — the credential required to recommend medical marijuana under Ohio law.

HIPAA Protected

All telehealth appointments are conducted on HIPAA-compliant platforms. Dayton patients' health information is handled with complete confidentiality throughout the process.

OMMCP Compliant

Every recommendation is submitted through the official SMBO system to the OMMCP. Patients then register at medicalmarijuana.ohio.gov to receive their card.

How Ohio's Program Works

Ohio's Medical Marijuana Control Program (OMMCP) is administered jointly by the Division of Cannabis Control (DCC) and the State Medical Board of Ohio (SMBO). A Dayton patient books a 15–20 minute telehealth appointment with a CTR-certified physician. If the patient has a qualifying condition, the physician submits the recommendation through the SMBO system to the OMMCP. The patient then completes registration at medicalmarijuana.ohio.gov to receive their official Ohio medical marijuana card, valid at any of Ohio's licensed dispensaries statewide.

Ohio's qualifying conditions include chronic severe or intractable pain, cancer, PTSD, epilepsy, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, Crohn's disease, Parkinson's disease, glaucoma, HIV/AIDS, ALS, Alzheimer's disease, Huntington's disease, inflammatory bowel disease, sickle cell anemia, spinal cord disease, traumatic brain injury, Tourette syndrome, and ulcerative colitis, among others. For the full current list visit med.ohio.gov.

The Tax Savings

Ohio's recreational cannabis carries a 10% excise tax on top of standard sales tax. Medical patients are completely exempt from the excise tax. For Dayton patients who spend $200 per month on cannabis to manage a qualifying condition, a medical card saves over $240 per year in taxes alone. Medical patients also receive higher purchase limits per transaction and access to dispensary pricing programs not available to recreational buyers.

How This Platform Is Funded

DaytonMarijuana.clinic is an advertising platform. CTR-certified Ohio physicians pay for patient connection and marketing services. Those commercial relationships are disclosed in our Advertising Disclosure and play no role in any physician's clinical decisions. Questions? Use the contact form on our Terms & Policies page.
